Oil on Canvas Panel, 14” x 11”

Though beautiful, winter’s are not for the faint of heart here in my home town of Crested Butte Colorado. They can last for as many as six to seven months, with an average snowfall of 300 inches each year! This painting captures a moment when a dear friend of mine was crossing a snow packed bridge on route to her home one sunny but frigid morning.
