| The Royal Residency (Denmark)- Grey clouds and bitter cold weather prompted a quick drawing of this regal square. I eventually retreated to a local pub where I spent the afternoon talking politics with a rather odd assortment fellow travelers whose nationalities of Danish, Irish and German made for very diverse and sometimes heated conversation. Pen and Ink on white paper is a fine medium for demonstrating the fundamental elements of drawing. Line, form, texture and depth can be boldly achieved through careful application. Each of my drawings attempts to address the relationships that exist between contrasts in line types and line color. | ||
