Oil on Canvas Panel, 12” x 9”

Returning home one fine summer’s day from a lengthy ride on my mountain bike through the backcountry, I was struck by this dramatic confluence of dazzling scenic views along one of the many side streets of my home town of Crested Butte Colorado. Quaint and colorful homes, weathered and full of character, lined a dusty alley road. Seasonal wildflowers displayed a delicate splash of color, while Red Lady Mountain nestled herself in the distance below a menagerie of soft billowing clouds.
