| Old Friends- If you hadnt guessed it, the old friends in this painting are the barrel and the building. I was struck by the idea that the two had probably endured many harsh winters and warm summers together. I also found the peeling white paint on the front of the building to be an exciting exercise in contrasting surfaces. Prints made using the Giclee printing process are produced with archival inks that are channeled through a printing machine that is capable of applying millions of microscopic drops of color per second. Whether on paper or canvas, the final produce is consistently accurate to the qualities of the original piece of artwork. |
