Colorado Wildflower
Mule Ears-Crested Butte is known as the wildflower capital of the state of Colorado. The Mule Ear is just one of the many wildflowers that flourish in the valleys and mountains surrounding Crested Butte. The wildflowers tend to peak between the last week of June and the third week of July every summer.
Oil Painting techniques vary. Because the medium provides the artist with a range of options for application, the paints can be applied in a soft and blended manner or in a hard manner where the brushstrokes are visible.
