Oil on Canvas, 18” x 24”

I follow the trail to an elevated spot above the valley floor. The show is just beginning. A warm and peaceful morning light reaches out across the land, gently glancing off distant tree tops announcing the start of a new day. The air is still and fragrant with the changing colors of Autumn. I savor the moment, for I know it is fleeting. I close my eyes and let the warmth of the sun wash over my face.
