The early morning hours along the Slate River during a warm summer day captures the essence of sublime contemplation. On this particular morning, a warm light washed over the valley floor leaving me awestruck. So peaceful. So quiet. Even now looking at this painting, I can still feel the warmth of a gentle breeze on my skin, the soothing sound of slow moving water, and song birds- Their melodies growing in number as they joyfully welcomed a new day.
