The Market (Belgium)- The city of Brugge, often referred to as “Little Amsterdam”, is one of Europe’s most finely preserved historical cities. While I was there, I felt as though I’d stepped back in time. I wandered along cobble stoned streets beneath the towering roof-tops of ornately designed old world architecture.
Bold black lines play off the subtle earth tones of ink against a white drawing paper background. Perspective is a key element of drawing for these pieces of art. Various shapes and line types define the forms to reveal an event of specific place and time.
