Oil on Canvas Panel, 12” x 9”

Each Summer I venture a few miles down valley from my home town of Crested Butte Colorado to walk the Brush Creek trail. From the trail head, it’s an easy stroll through waist high wildflowers that never fail to flood my senses with wonder and awe. To my delight, each year the Larkspur that populate this valley always seem to be the star of the show. They gather in playful bunches, swaying in the breeze and reaching ever skyward. Seems silly, but to me, they alway look like they are having the time of their lives!
