Bridge in Prague
Karlov Most (Czechoslovakia)- The Karlov Most is a pedestrian only bridge that connects “The Old city” to “The New City” in Prague. Musicians, artists and theatrical troops occupy nearly all of the available space on the bridge’s stone-carved span. Crossing the bridge one day on route to the “Old City” I was struck by the countless number of statues that lined either side of the bridge and populated the angular rooftops of the surrounding city. It was the intermingling of statues and people that inspired this drawing.
