Oil on Canvas, 24” x 18”

Just before rolling into the town of Gothic, high up in the backcountry of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, a few small cabins can be seen clinging to the hillside just above the East River. I’ve taken some liberties here, igniting the landscape with some fiery warm colors to complement the plush green of the valley floor.
