| Gare De Nord (France)- I traveled throughout Europe with an unlimited rail pass. The European rail system is a strikingly efficient, fun and affordable way to travel. The Paris train station was a feast for the eyes. This drawing was rendered at four O’clock in the morning. Yet, even at this early hour, the platforms were bustling with activity. Depth created through the use of perspective drawing was one desired effect I sought while rendering my pen and ink drawings. The earth tones were applied first before adding the black ink. The variations in tone and the bold black ink worked well to bring my goal to fruition. | ||
