| Firewood- By the time October hits, stacks of firewood abound in town of Crested Butte Colorado. Wood burning stoves are a popular method of heating homes to combat the long winters. The particular woodpile in this painting was a signal to me of winter’s fast approach. Oil painting is a time-tested medium that can be traced back through history for centuries. I've always enjoyed the traditional heritage of oil painting in union with the rich and luxurious qualities of the paint itself. | ||
