| Palau De Congressos (Spain)- I spent a warm and sunny afternoon at a hillside cafe that overlooked the Mediterranean Sea before exploring the streets of downtown Barcelona. The building seen in this drawing was actually part of a university. Students by the hundreds congregated in surrounding square to indulge in conversation, food and play. Pen and Ink on white drawing paper can provide the viewer with a clear demonstration of the use of bold lines, definitive forms and complex textures. Each of my drawings was rendered by layering warm toned inks beneath dark and decisive black inks to achieve a wide range of fundamental elements in drawing. | ||
