| Columbines-This flower is the state flower of Colorado. I found this gathering during a short outing through the backcountry. The Columbine is a fascinating layering of petals that resembles a flower within a flower. Each year Crested Butte holds a week long festival to celebrate the wildflowers' arrival. Giclee prints that are printed on paper are usually referred to as the Iris Giclee printing process. Single sheets of very large paper are fed into a machine that sprays millions of drops of color per second. The quality of the print is of professional grade and the resemblance to the original piece of artwork is striking. | ||
