| Horse Drawn Carriage (Belgium)- To wander the streets of Brugge is to slip back through the mists of time. The sound of the horse drawn carriage in this drawing was the perfect complement to a city steeped in history. Each pen and ink drawing from this series was accomplished through a technique of layering that begins with the application of earth tone inks. Once the first layer is complete, a second layer of black ink is applied. The goal was to create depth while generating a complex arrangement of line, shape, form and texture. | ||
