This gathering of old weatherd barns and sheds has appeared in a number of my paintings. The property lies on a hilltop just above my home town of Crested butte Colorado, the rooftops of which can be seen here in the mid ground with Crested Butte Mountain in the distance. The property abounds a plethora of spectacular views of the valley below. I am uncertain of the history of this ranch, but my imagination runs wild thinking of the many years spent by its owners living life from such an extraordinary perspective.
